How to Open an Account on Lumi

Steps to Create a Local Account

1. Visit the Lumi Platform: Go to the Lumi website.
2. Select Sign Up: Click on "Don't have a Lumi AGM account? Sign up."
3. Enter Personal Details:
   • Provide your Email Address.
   • Set a Password.
   • Enter your Given Name and Family Name.
4. Marketing Preferences: Choose your marketing preferences as prompted.
5. Email Verification: Confirm your email by clicking the link in the verification email sent to you.
6. Completion Message: Once verified, a confirmation message will appear stating that your email address is now verified.

Lumi.com has a detailed return policy. If an order needs to be cancelled before it ships, this can be done from the original order acknowledgement email. If the order has already shipped, the 'Return for Refund' option needs to be followed.

For Hardware, there is a 30-day full refund or exchange policy from the date of item receipt. If the return is from the same country of purchase, the shipping cost is free. If the country has changed, there will be an extra return shipping fee deducted from the refund. All returned LUMI Products must be in their original condition.

If the item arrives damaged and a replacement unit is required, the same return path is followed. The software will be deactivated within 10 days of the hardware product being received at the warehouse. The direct debit for the LUMI subscription needs to be cancelled separately to the Hardware return.

For Soundpacks or Software, there is a 14-day return policy from the date of purchase. The software bundled with the Hardware, such as the LUMI subscription, is governed by the same returns policy for the Hardware, and cannot be returned individually. Stand-alone Software can be returned within 14 days of the date of purchase. If there is a fault or system incompatibility that cannot be remedied and is identified within 90 days of the purchase date, the Stand-alone Software may be returned.

EU law gives EU consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal, also known as a “Cooling Off Period,” for Products purchased online, but it only applies to Software that has not yet been downloaded. Much of the LUMI return policy is more favorable than what is required under the law. In the event of a conflict between the LUMI return policy and applicable law, the more generous rights conferred by EU or local law are entitled.
